Automotive Task Group

A1 Report on the current state of use and the opportunities for, MBS & QR in the European automotive sector. [Delivered]

The Task Group has completed work on the first Deliverable A1. This is a report on the current state of use, and the oportunities for, MBS/QR in the European automotive sector. The report is entitled 'Model Based Systems in Automotive Domains: Applications and Trends.'

A2 An outline of the areas for potential new projects to formulate solutions to agreed problems and the advantages for European automotive players in doing so. [Delivered]

A3 Generation of new projects to follow from the above.[Delivered]

Bio-Medical Task Group

B1 Domain Status Document (reporting the emerging problems, the requirements of the biomedical community and the interactions discerned between the two domains). [Delivered]

The Bio-Medical Task Group has produced a Bio-Medical Status Domain document, which outlines the State of the Art in the field and the current status of the research field.

B1 Version 2 Updated version of Domain Status Document. [Delivered]

This is the updated version of the original document, reflecting the changes within the domain since the B1 Deliverable was published.

B2-3 Biomedical Roadmap (outlining the projected developments of MBR in biomedical research and development and contributing to the MONET Roadmap). [B2 and B3 are Delivered]

The Bio-Medical Task Group held a workshop on 19th October 2003 on 'Model-based and Qualitative Reasoning in Biomedicine', which was co-located with the 9th European Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIME'03). The proceedings are available on a MONET Webpage and are also available in their entirety in pdf format.

B5 A Report on the role and synergies possible between MBS & QR and other approaches to the solution of biomedical problems. [Delivered]

The Report of Synergies with Model-based Technology and other AI Approaches in Biomedicine is now available in pdf format.
