A1 Report
on the current state of use and the opportunities for, MBS &
QR in the European automotive sector.
The Task Group
has completed work on the first Deliverable A1. This is a report
on the current state of use, and the oportunities for, MBS/QR in
the European automotive sector. The report is entitled 'Model
Based Systems in Automotive Domains: Applications and Trends.'
A2 An
outline of the areas for potential new projects to formulate solutions
to agreed problems and the advantages for European automotive players
in doing so.
The report is
entitled 'An

Automotive Sector'.
A3 Generation
of new projects to follow from the above.

A Technological Roadmap for Automotive applications of MBS &
QR.
The first version
of the Automotive
Roadmap, Deliverable A4, is now available.
The second version
of the Automotive
Roadmap, Deliverable A5, is now available.

In June 2003
Louise Travé-Massuyès
was invited to present at a Workshop on 'Immobot Technology and
its Application to Automotive Realm' at the Car Internet Research
Program (CIRP) Conference. CIRP is an industry-sponsored research
initiative administered through the University of Ottawa. The program
is exclusively focused on projects that assess the extent to which
new information and communication technologies impact the automobile
