B1 Domain Status Document (reporting the emerging problems, the requirements of the biomedical community and the interactions discerned between the two domains).

The Bio-Medical Task Group has produced a Bio-Medical Status Domain document, which outlines the State of the Art in the field and the current status of the research field.

B2-3 Bio-Medical Roadmap (outlining the projected developments of MBR in biomedical research and development and contributing to the MONET Roadmap).

The Bio-Medical Task Group produced version one of the Bio-Medical Roadmap at an event in Spring 2003. The document details where the technologies are predicted to go in the next ten years.

The updated second version of the Bio-Medical Roadmap is now also available.

B4 Model Based Systems in BioMedical Workshop (with proceedings).

B5 A Report on the role and synergies possible between MBS & QR and other approaches to the solution of biomedical problems.

The Report of Synergies with Model-based Technology and other AI Approaches in Biomedicine is now available.

Reports

The Bio-Medical Task Group organised a ESF Exploratory Workshop on the 'Fundamentals of Medical Informatics' held in Elspeet, The Netherlands, 27 - 29 October, 2002. A set of proceedings was compiled and they are working on a text book on the subject.
